Better Shelter is an independent non-profit based in Sweden without political or religious ties. We design and provide temporary shelters to help people live safer and more dignified lives until they can return or move to a new permanent home.

Over the past decade, in collaboration with UN agencies, the IKEA Foundation, Red Cross and Red Crescent societies and NGOs, we have delivered over 90,000 shelters to disasters and conflicts, reaching hundreds of thousands of people.
